Be aware when purchasing Frontline Plus products for dogs and cats, that they have been manufactured specifically for the country that you reside in.

The manufacturer of Frontline Plus products for cats and dogs, Merial Limited, state that they have companies all over the world but the only product manufactured to sell in the US is from France or the US.

Products made in France or the US are the only ones with an EPA # (which stands for Enviromental Protection Agency and they ensure the product is safe),  Products from United Kingdom are from the same company but do not have an EPA # because the United Kingdom has different regulations than the US. 

Merial Limited stated that they CANNOT stand behind their “Satisfaction Guaranteed” without an EPA # because it is not meant to be used in the United States but only for the country that it was manufactured for.

For US approved Frontline Plus products, first check that the box you received is sealed then look to see if it states “MERIAL–EPA APPROVED” the end of the box will have a seal on it with a “LOT #” This number must match the number on each tube inside the package. 

At least now you know what to look for to make sure that the Frontline Plus product you received is genuine.
